"Give unto the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness."
1 Corinthians 16
The entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 16 gives guidance on worship for our God. King David knew the importance of acknowledging the greatness of God and giving Him the praise due His name. That is the same focus of worship at Pooler First Baptist Church. Worship comes from a variety of experiences: experiencing God's grace and forgiveness; experiencing God's blessing; experiencing God's comfort in heartache; experiencing victory in God when you faced opposition. The worship services at PFBC praise God for being our God who sees our humanity and provides for our needs in every area of life.
2 Corinthians 2:9 testifies of God's provision for us: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
As you come into God's house at PFBC, bring before Him your praise for His goodness. Be prepared to lay before His throne your petitions for healing and protection. Join with other children of the one true God and worship Him for His forgiveness of sins and salvation from ourselves. Praise Him for His faithful love and presence in our lives here on earth now and the promise of an eternal life in Heaven with Him.
